After what felt like an endless wait, Eggtuck opened its first San Diego location in Little Italy—and naturally, we had to find out whether it could live up to all that anticipation.

The short answer? It exceeded our expectations. This is fast-casual breakfast built around soft scrambled eggs, buttery brioche, crispy potatoes and sauces that bring the whole thing together.

“We expected it to look good on camera. We didn’t expect it to deliver this hard after filming stopped.”
THE ORDER

What should you try first?

Go classic if you want the eggs to be the star. Go Royal if you want the full Eggtuck experience—sweet Korean beef, cheese, grilled onions, pickles and sauce tucked into brioche.

KEEP IT CLASSIC

Bacon & Cheese

Soft eggs, smoked bacon and cheddar on brioche.

Editor’s note: In the final version, this section will name Lana and Kyle’s exact orders and give an honest bite-by-bite verdict on each.
