Sometimes love finds you when you are not looking for it, and much closer than you ever expected. For us, it was only a few doors away.

After a rooftop conversation left us both thinking it would be our only date, we decided we had already chosen to spend the night together, so we might as well have fun with it. We skipped across crosswalks on our way to an arcade, let go of every expectation and simply enjoyed each other. That night became the first of more than 50 first dates.

Every restaurant, coffee shop, trip and spontaneous adventure still feels like another chance to experience something new together. LDK began as an inside joke inspired by Lana Del K, our imaginary album name when we first started dating. Somehow, it became the perfect name for the life we were creating together.

We are bodybuilders who love health, wellness, great food and experiencing life beyond our routines. Along with Weenie and Nala, our pups, we are exploring San Diego and everywhere beyond it, sharing honest reviews and creating memories we can always look back on.

Our hope is to help you discover places worth experiencing while inspiring more couples to stay curious, keep dating each other and have fun with the life they are building together.
